‘No place for goons challenging people in Kerala, all under police surveillance’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said there is no place for any goon who challenges the people in Kerala. The minister was talking to the media after the arrest of criminal case accused Arjun Ayanki. He added that this is not a land of goons but a land of people who want peace.

'Let this be a lesson to any goon who challenges the system in Kerala. Not only this, the government is committed to bring all goons under control. The goal is to ensure the peaceful life of the people. If the accused and the goons do not allow the people to live peacefully, strong action will be taken. There will be no compromise in this. Onam is approaching. No goon should think that they can endanger the lives of the people during the Onam season.

The list of goons and KAAPA case accused are in all the police stations. All are under the surveillance of the police. Kerala is not a paradise for goons. Some are deliberately trying to unleash violence. This is a lesson for all goons. Law is the same for everyone. Didn’t Pinarayi Vijayan himself reject Arjun Ayanki yesterday? Then why should an investigation be conducted. No one will protect such people, clarified Ramesh Chennithala.
