Ceiling of District Child Protection Unit office collapses; second such incident

IDUKKI: The ceiling of the District Child Protection Unit office in Idukki collapsed on Monday morning, marking the second such incident at the same building in recent days. A section of the ceiling had collapsed earlier as well.

When employees reached the office on Monday morning, they found that another section had collapsed. As no one was inside the building at the time, a major accident was averted. There are growing demands for the office to be shifted to a safer building immediately and for authorities to take urgent measures to ensure the safety of the employees.
