Experts part of NTA leaked NEET questions by copying on slips of paper

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clarified how the first three accused in the NEET question paper leak case allegedly committed the offence. They leaked the questions by copying on small pieces of paper. Some of the accused memorized the questions and answers during work and wrote them down after leaving the examination premises. The CBI also found that they copied relevant portions from NCERT textbooks to reconstruct the question paper. These details are contained in the 94-page charge sheet filed by the agency.

Meantime, the CBI informed the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court that it had opposed the accused's plea expressing willingness to undergo lie detector tests, stating that the investigation was complete and no further evidence remained to be collected.

The plea was filed by the accused, Mangi Lal Bival, Dinesh Bival and Vikas Bival, who offered to undergo narco analysis, brain mapping, and polygraph tests. After hearing the arguments, the court reserved its order and is expected to deliver its decision on Monday. Meanwhile, copies of the charge sheet were also supplied to all 13 accused in the case yesterday. The court is expected to decide today whether to accept the charge sheet.
