Amit Shah suffers food poisoning during visit to Karnataka; fails to attend two events

NEW DELHI: Reports say Union Home Minister Amit Shah suffered food poisoning during his visit to Karnataka. Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said that all necessary tests had been conducted and that his health condition is presently satisfactory.


Amit Shah was not able to attend two scheduled events in Karnataka after experiencing vomiting and weakness. The programmes scheduled in Hubballi and Belagavi were cancelled. He later returned to Delhi on the advice of doctors.
