KCL: Thrissur Titans make winning start; Trivandrum Royals all set for new season

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thrissur Titans registered their first win in the third season of the prestigious KCL at the Kariyavattom Greenfield Stadium on Thursday. Thrissur defeated Calicut Globestars by seven wickets. Batting first, Calicut were restricted to 137/8, but Thrissur reached the target in 16.5 overs for the loss of three wickets. Thrissur's Nikhil Thottath (59*) was named Player of the Match with his first half-century of the season.
