Woman dies after falling from bus while returning home from work

KOCHI: A 31-year-old woman died after falling from a moving bus in Ernakulam's Thuruthippuram on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Vintumol, a native of North Paravur and a lab technician. The accident occurred around 2 pm when Vintumol was returning home after work. She was an employee at RK Hospital in Thuruthippuram.

It is not yet clear whether the bus door was open at the time of the accident. Her body has been kept at the Paravur Taluk Hospital and will be handed over to her relatives after the postmortem examination. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
